Although it will 'work' like that, it is not the proper way to vent crankcase pressure. However, this topic has been beaten to death, and if he wants to learn everything possible about it visit this thread:

I took some pics of the interior today. haha i painted the passenger side door panel the other day and i ran out of paint to do the driver side. I'm planning on painting all the tan parts black. I'm Also not a fan of seat covers but they're Mitsubishi seat covers so their not bad. They cover up the nasty seats lol.. i took the covers off one day to see what they look like.. man are they bad. anyways. hope you guys like. I plan on buying different seats sometime in the future as well..

i can't help but notice the extra button near the hazard and defroster button. what is it?

the last button is just where the guy before me put in a security light. not really a button haha

Great looking car. Be careful when painting those plastics. You have to do a ton or prep work to keep it that way and not have it flake off or wear away over a few months. What process are you using to do it?

yeah i know what you mean. I'm probably going to have to re do the passenger side door panel and the hatch parts as well because i only used one coat of dupli color interior paint. for the rest i will probably sand down the parts slightly with 2000 grit, Wipe clean with alcohol, and do 2 or 3 coats of paint. it took one whole can just for that door panel last time so im going to need to buy a lot more paint. I'm thinking maybe a clear coat also but i don't know if i should or not.

You should clear it if you want the color to stay. In my experience painting the plastics is more of a PITA then it's worth in the end. It's hard to get them to stay the same color with all the wear and tear on them.

Yeah it is a lot of work.. but i rather do it and have it black then have the OEM tan any day lol..

i remember when i bought my car brand new and it was nice and pretty like yours. the only thing left that i could brag about is the body without any scratches or dings and the back seat. hihihi!

Agreed! What are you doing about the carpet? Black with some RIT dye?

I did it once and didn't turn out the best but it was my first time. I would just buy a new OEM carpet. I have seen them online for decent prices. The headliner is easy as long as you have someone to help you stretch it and hold it. You can just reupholster it with black or whatever color you want but make sure you use just the right amount of glue. Too much and it'll seap through, too little and it will start to fall.
