[RESOLVED] Need help with oil pressure gauge wiring.

Anybody know what wire on my ecu do I tap my electronic oil pressure gauge wires to? i have a 97 Eagle Talon Tsi Fwd and if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a blessed day.

just tap into the factory oil pressure sending unit

The ECU doesn't have a connection to the oil pressure.
Aftermarket gauges usually include senders. They aren't usually compatible with the factory sender.

You'll probably need to buy the associated pressure sensor. If you stock gauge doesn't work, just put the new sensor in that sensor's place.

thanks guys. Yeah my stock one works,but I would rather be able to have a real readout. wheres the sending unit located? on the back of the block? pully side? pics would help if possible.

I just got my electronic autometer gauge and started wiring it up. I got stuck when it had 4 extra wires apart from the sender. It says they go to a data logger of some sort. I am already running a ECM link V3. Do i just tuck the wires out of the way or is there a place i wire them into?
