Intercooler won fit because of oil cooler?!

Hi,

I just received a new interooler for my 90 Tsi. It is 28"x8"x3.5". The problem is that I found out that there is an oil cooler line that will be touching it and wont let it fit. Anyone with an 3.5 intercooler know how can I resolved this?? Can I move the oil cooler??

notch your front bumber with a grinder an run 2 pieces of steel from the ic to the newly notched bumper.... drill some holes in the bumper and bolt you ic brackets.... it will be tight but it will all fit nice if you do it

I'll have to find room for it or change the position, because I don't want to remove the fog lights.

Oil coolers can be moved anywhere! I once had one tucked under the passenger corner of the bumper. Had about 10ft of oil line. It was a good time.

That is a lot of oil line, just run it into your trunk that will help you. Joking, get some stainless braided line and find a nice spot, you may even consider going with a smaller one if you are having fitment issues, but I would stick with the factory or go with a new larger aftermarket, if you can fit it.
