so my original couplers that came with my greddy FMIC were cracked wen i first bought my car and finaly riped..so i went to a hardware store and bought me some rubber ones but they still ripped...i wanted to know whats the best material and were i can get them...
thanks..:dsm:

Silicone T-bolts should solve that problem. Standard fix for the nissan crowd I used to be a part of before the DSM. (sr20 cold I/C pipe pop and rip is a very common problem)

Yes, rubber couplers for IC pipes are useless, they don't stand up well to engine bay heat & if your running any kind of descent boost, you'll blow them apart in no time. A high quality silicone coupler is the only way to go, like the ones from ETS posted above, or Extremepsi, etc. Rubber couplers should be left to home plumbing ;)

i remember those couplers that came with the greddy kit. they were horrible. they were like rubber intake couplers! LOL mine held up well though but no longer have it so who knows how long they couldve held for.

ive used some multi ply silicone ones from ebay for other fmic kits i use now, and so far so good.
