what difference will it make 272 cams on a 4g63 n/t?
does it need modiffications to install them or can the stock ones be taken out and simply install the 272 in?

thanks guys:thumb::laser:

It says next to your name that you have a turbo on your NT...

Answer to your first question: You will have a broader power band more in the upper RPMs and you will lose a little on the lower RPMs. That's how it equates on turbo cars yet NT motors do have higher compression and if you were to build your engine with say a 10:1 or even 10.5:1 CR you will see better gains with those cams running NT.

Second: No, you can drop them right in and not need anything else. Stiffer valve springs are recommended but not absolutely necessary. There are plenty of guys running 272's on stock valve train. Since the NT head is the same as the Turbo head except for cams you shouldn't have a problem either.

im workin on a friends car and he brought me a crower 272 cams to install them. he got them for cheap sooooo, im going to.

i dont have cams on mine yet but itll be interesting working on this and be ready for mine. i know i will make mad power when i do mine since its turbo LOL. (hopefully it will LOL)ROFL
