OK, so i'm new at this tuning thing, but the reading i'm getting doesn't make any sense.

First off, components in the mix:
2g Maf
550 Injectors
AeromotiveFPR
Walbro 255
Wideband O2 (Innovative)
SAFC Neo
Super 16g
FMIC
Greddy BOV (recirculated)

Ok, so here is the issue. I'm adjusting the SAFC to tune the "low" throttle rpm range. The odd part is that i'm having to tune it +10 to +15 (for 1k thru 3k. I stopped there till i can get this problem fixed) to get to the sweet stop (wideband reading close to 14 and datalogger o2trim cycling around 90% - 110%)

It just doesn't make sense to me since people are always talking about having to tune in the negative numbers. Should i just listen to the instruments and tune to that? When i did try to adjust the safc to the negative the o2trim would peg at 168 (or 169) and the wideband would freaking out past 25.

Any feedback or info would be greatly appreciated

Gabriel

With 550's and a 2g mas you should be close to zero if not in the plus' due to the fact that 1g ecu is not calibrated to the 2g mas. The 2g mas will register about 20% less air than the 1g mas so you need to richen it up to compensate for this. When I had my first talon w/2g mas it took me a while to grasp this concept. Therefore at zero setting across the board you are already leaner than you would be on a 1g sensor at the same setting. I have 650's and I am at around -7 on my high end and -8 across the board on the low end.

Also do a boost leak test that is proven to make you run lean on the low end and rich on the high end.

Oh and YES, listen to the feedback you are getting from the datalogger. No two cars are the same.

Tune the low and get your fuel trims around 100% and the wbo2 should be around 14.7. Dont worry about what the safc settings are as long as your fuel trims and wbo2 readings are fine. Anyways I have ran your setup and I had to add a lot at idle and maybe 10-15% through the whole rpm band to get a good 14.7 afr. You are just fine.

Guys... thanks a lot for the reply, makes me feel a lot better than I'm heading in the right direction. Just wanted to make sure before i kept going.

That is the GOOD...

The Bad is that I got my car back from one of the "best" shops here in Vegas and they tuned my car with all the settings at -15% and further down the % range. (shakes head). Really wish i knew more about my cars so I never had to take it to anyone (hard to find someone that knows what they are doing and cares for your car).

Thanks for the input though... greatly appreciate it.
