some 1g tsi fwd questions

im going to look at the afformentioned 90 tsi fwd today this afternoon. well, i'll be going off to college to become a mean, lean, shot-peened machinist when i emerge and i gotta have insurance. i dont mean to get personal or anything, i would just like to know what neighborhood of the prices are. just liability. i mean, i've got my share of tickets in the past dont get me wrong, i dont expect it to be dirt cheap but for an 18 year old vehicle i hope its not stupid high.

..also.. the first thing im doing when i get the car is de-badging it. i was even considering taking off the factory spoiler yeah i know.. i just want a quick, low profile vehicle now. bodykits, lowering springs, neons, big heavy 17" wheels, loud exhaust.. bleh.. anywho so to add to my previous inquiries, could i just say the car isnt turbocharged if they ask? im sure they could just run the VIN but.. eh i dunno, but im sure the rate's gonna be a lot higher than an NA talon. alrighty, all i have to ask right now, thanks guys, loving this site

First off, telling them it's non-turbo when it actually is turbo would be insurance fraud, and they'd probalby figure it out before your first bill came.

Secondly, I was paying ~$500/yr when i was 21 with my AWD, and that was with just 50k/100k personal and no comprehensive or anything like that.
