Hi, it's my first post, I've got a 1g Eclipse and I'm replacing all my bushings with Energies. I've left the funnest ones for last, the front subframe bushings, and I'm looking at the cylinder of muck that is my steering rack thinking: is there another Mitsu rack that has a quicker ratio? So I went down to Jacks Transmissions to do some research. A 1G Eclipse takes 1 whole revolution then a quarter turn and then about 30 degrees past that. I dont know how to give a concrete measurement for that but anyway, a Galant VR-4 is exactly 1 rev. and a quarter turns to lock from center.
My question is, will a VR-4 rack fit in a 1g? If so, where can I get one? (Jack and his brother are hording galants and wont get off any parts,

so I looked up some part numbers and there was a whole bunch of them for the same car and I guess I'll keep looking.
