3.0 gm maf question

dose anybody hav any idea why the majority of GM maf's are like 120 - 160 dollars but the one that ETS is 80 dollars? is there any reason, like is it possibly a cheaper quality product?

some one out there currently using a GM maf from ETS that can vouch for there dependable - ity.

Agreed. I got mine from the junkyard for $25 and its guranteed to work or I just take it back and get another one. No sense in paying $80 unless you want a brand new one.

please be careful i had a bad problem with the shaft seals letting out too much air from the junkyard unit i got. might want to make sure they shaft seals are good.

Are you talking about a GM MAF? Last I checked only a throttle body had shaft seals.

Alot of places will sell you used MAF for that cheap of a price, but junkyard is the best bang for your buck. If you are looking for the whole setup, check out Welcome To Extreme PSI. They had the best overall price when i got my setup.

I got my MAFT setup from ETS when I bought their street FMIC and it's working great. No boost leaks from the sensor and looked pretty darn new to me.

I'm not saying all are used. Some companies with prices that cheap are used. They might be doing a promotion sale, or overstocked. Some companies will sell you some thing cheap to get your business for other items. I know when i order a few items i like to order them all from the same place so there is no hassle on when the other stuff will be in.

Got mine from a scrap yard on eBay. Thirty-something shipped. It's worked flawlessly for 3+ years.


If a company is selling them for $80, then they are most likely not brand new GM Performance brand sensors. Those cost double that. They are probably made by a OE-style parts supplier, or could possibly be used but that's doubtful.
