tranny help

I am just finishing up my auto to manuel transmission swap in my 1997 eclipse GST. The PROBLEM that i am having is that the starter will not in-gage with the fly wheel. Here is what i think it could be; In my own research i have found out that i may have the wrong tranny (F5M31) in my 1997 eclipse GST not the spyder. if this is the problem can i just get the spyder starter and use it do i need to get the right tranny F5M33. THANKS....

what year and model eclipse-gst or spyder gst does this tranny come out of. i have this tranny in my 1997 eclipse and i cant get the starter to connect with the fly wheel(FSM31)

i think im gonna get a new tranny to solve this problem
