So, after thinking my car was getting great MPG i realise that my gas gauge isnt working :notgood: and the light started to come on...

i havent began to touch the fuel aspects of my DSM, but i guess the time has come...where should i begin to diagnose this problem, ive been reading and i see that it could be the float device inside the tank, the arm, or it could even be a bad ground wire.

i do notice lately that there is a wining noise in the car, especially since i removed my rear seat, it varies though, higher then lower, higher then lower, like a beat, is that my pump maybe?

its a stock fuel system (to my knowledge).

stock fuel system, stock turbo system running 15lbs, but i hardly ever am at full boost...

this just started happening maybe 3 days ago...im just nto sure how to fix the problem...
