Is there a way to take the profile for my car which is on one computer and save it, put it on a thumb drive and load it onto another computer? Any help would be super!

In what sense, a car computer or home computer?

Every car is different, so settings for one won't do any good on another. And if this has anything to do with trying to steal link, stop being a piece of crap.

If you're talking about transferring ECU configuration from one ECU to another, the answer is yes. In the menu you can save the ecu configuration (saves as an *.ecu file).

If you're talking about transferring a run or the ecu configuration from one PC to another, it's as simple as saving the file and moving it to the other computer via your chosen method (CD-R, USB drive, ethernet, etc.).

And yeah, while it doesn't sound to me like you're trying to steal anything, we are very protective about people ripping off the hard work that Tom and Dave did.

If the ECU in your car is still correct you can just run the steps snowborder714 listed to save the state of your ECU on your computer. Otherwise you just need the .ecu file from the shop for your ECU.
