Winnipeg,
I was just removing my axle seal and somehow this goddamn tool put a score mark in the machined surface where the seal sits in the housing.. I am f**ked?

Its extremely shallow but enough that I can feel it with my finger nail..

I'm so pissed off right now, not sure what to do about this.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I say go ahead and throw in a new seal and see if it leaks, if it leaks then maybe some silicone or something will be able to seal it. If you didn't score it very deep then you might not leak when you put the new seal in, but as was stated above a picture definately could help us out here.

Yah I put the new seal in and put grey RTV around the outside perimeter.. I just hope it doesn't leak..
