The motor went on my talon (valves hit pistons, which are pretty gouged up) and my 16g went as well (shaft play-can see the fins were scrapping the compressor housing and some cracks by the exhaust inlet), also found a piece of the thermostat missing.
Now the problem is I just bought a 18g off the group buy from FP. I have a 255lph pump which I can put in, I have 750cc injectors I can throw in, but no dsmlink to control em, no fmic, and stock maf system.
Can I get away with just putting the fuel pump in and running like 10-12 lbs of boost? Will the 450's be able to handle it? or do I have to bite the bullet and save for dsmlink as well so I can control the 750's? Also will I run into any problems running the stock smic with that turbo at that boost? I just need to get the car back on the road ASAP!
