water temp sensor in thermostat housing?

i have a new water temp gauge and i dont know where to tap the thermostat housing to place the new sensor someone... does anyone have a picture of where to do this?

Is your new gauge an electrical or mechanical gauge?

You can use the factory hole if you want. Both the factory and aftermarket threads should be 1/8NPT. If you still want to keep the factory gauge working, then any area underneath the thermostat should be OK, as long as you have a room to work. I did this on my car and it works just fine.

i have an electrical glowshift gauge is there also a way to add an adapter to the top radiator hose?

Greddy and other manufacturers make a hose adapter. Like this:

I just found that site from a random google search. Thats the simplest way to do it.

I Here's where I put mine when I had it
