Use of Seafoam in Gas ONLY

I bought some Seafoam to run through the fuel tank only, but I didn't know if I was going to have to change the oil or plugs after just using it in the tank...

Anyone ever just use it this method?

I couldn't see you having to do an oil change. Maybe just take out the spark plugs afterwards and check em out.

may wanna check the plugs when the tank is on e other than that it should be fine.

You shouldn't have any problems. You only need to change the oil if you put some in the oil. IF you do that change the oil after about 100 miles or so. To be honest the plugs will probably not have a problem with either method

Yep aslong as you do a whole can to a tank of gas you should be fine

I use a half can every winter as a fuel stabilizer too, and run the other half in the first fill up for the year. Havn't had a problem with plugs yet.

if you use it in the gas its just like useing any other injector cleaner (just better)

Thanks for the replies so far...

I was just curious if there was any premature maintenance that had to be done after using it just through the tank (fuel filter, plugs, other fluids, etc)
