I want to know if any one has ever attempted in swaping a 2g head for either a evo 3, 4, or 5 head, and if someone has accomplish this task, what kind of potential or effect can be achieve from it. The reason why is that in the near future, I was thinking of swaping my 2g head for an evo 3,4 or 5 head, so if someone or anyone could tell me would be nice. Thanks.

Evo IV-IX are backwards. you would need to use Evo I-III and they are the same as DSM so no gain there. I have seen it done (cant remeber if it was DSM head on Evo or other way around but it was to put the SMIM on front to incorperate an air-water intercooler system)

no, you can get more power for less money with a DSM head rather than try to do the massive construction of reversing your head orientation.

Look for the intake manifold off of an evo III. That seems to be a popular upgrade for 2g 7-bolts these days.
