Hello, Guys and Gals:

I recently had a problem with my 1997 Eclipse GST. The throttle cable has worn itself to the point of failure. I read just about all of the threads on this topic, and only a few actually dealt with failure altogether. I need to know where to get a new one, and I'd like to avoid getting ripped off by the dealership (satan as I've seen people refer)! No local parts stores even have a way of finding the part. No local junkyard even has ANY DSM whatsoever (personally, I think it's just lazy customer service). I followed a few links from other threads, but they are old and outdated/website doesn't exist anymore. The cable that connects from the gas pedal to the pulley system is begining to fray as well. (This is a cruise control setup).

Thanks in advance! Love the site.
