i am thinking of buying a used SAFC and the guy said he just has the SAFC, the wires, and mounting hardware. is there any software i will need for it or will it just plug in and work? :dsm:

You have to wire it to the ECU, there is no software for the SAFC, you will need some sort of logging software though, so you can see whats going on with your car. Wouldn't hurt to have a EGT, or wideband either.

Im using Evoscan. Cant give it a yay or nay quite yet. I dont get a chance to drive my car much. Only on the weekends, sometimes.. Im just having a problem with low sampling rates that hopefully I can fix this weekend. Other than that Evoscan is by far a better logging solution.
