I've searched, and I couldnt find this answer in VFAQ, or the forums "Injector Questions" thread. So the thing is, since I have an N/T Talon for parts, I was wondering what size the stock injectors are. If they are 390s, I could use them on my GS-T. They were both A/T Transmission, and 2.0L. Anyone have an idea?

The NT injectors on a 1G 4G63 are 240cc units; they are also high-impedance (turbo units are low-impedance) and don't require the use of a resistor pack. Better to sell them off to a Honduh guy needing an upgrade and buy the injectors you want in the first place! ;)

Thanks. Just what I needed to know. Its just the insulation on 2 of my 390s is messed up. But since I plan on upgrading the injectors soon, I wont bother fixing them for now. A mod may want to close this thread, its been resolved.

What insulation?
The pintel caps at the head end of the injector are replaceable.

I'll take a picture once I get my car. Its at the very tip of the injector. Its the cover surrounding the spray tip. Not sure if this is replacable. It just looks like a piece of plastic broke off from the fuel injector.

That is the pintle cap. They are replaceable. If you were to send the injectors in for cleaning most good places should replace them.

Thanks. Didnt know this. Then maybe I wont go upgrading injectors just yet. I want to get all the supporting mods before upgrading turbo/injectors. I'll check around the local shops to see if they clean the injectors, and replace the pintle cap. Again, Thanks.

I called my local machine shop (which is considered the best in the area), and they do not work with injectors. A local car wash does work with injectors, but does not give the replacement caps. Anyone know where I can find these online maybe? Or maybe at a local autoparts? Can I take the caps from the N/T Injectors?

Thanks Steve. I'll give this a try as soon as my mechanic is done working with the car. I'll let you know how it went.
