Drivetrain Diagram

Hey guys. I am looking for a diagram or some pics of the front half of the AWD drivetrain. I come from a Mustang background, so from the driveshafts back is a no brainer. I have been reading about center diffs, transfer cases, spider gears, VC's and the sort, but I don't have a mental picture to how it all goes together. I did a search and came up with a very basic diagram, but I would like something a little better. Any help would be greatly appreciated in my quest for knowledge. Thanks!

Bingo! That helps out alot. But I still don't see how the front diff comes into play.

The front axles 'plug' into each side of the front diff.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you everybody for your help. Looking at snowborder's diagram above had me feeling like a complete retard. Now I can see how it all jives together.

Ya, the diagram is a bit confusing as you can't see vertical depth.
