Okay so I go to get my license back which was a success and on the way home I noticed that my gauge lights went out but the check engine/door ajar/ etc were all still working.
Changed the fuse under the driver side panel that didn't need it.
They still didn't come on and I noticed neither were my tail lights...
So I replaced that fuse which needed replacing
I've been swapping out fuses and going nuts does anybody know what the hell I need to do

I dont know where the fuse is in the fuse box, but in there, there is one that will give you back all you lights. This happened to me one time, scared the shit out of me.

You think you can check that way I don't run out and spend money on having somebody else fix something that was right in front of me?

If it wasnt 12 oclock and 0*, i would. If i remember correctly, it was a 30 amp fuse in the fuse box. Open your fuse box, it was one marked clearly on the label. Just read the label, it kinda made sense once you looked at it.

Took it to a shop to day to get a 30 dollar installation fee on my tie rod end and a free allignment...
Asked them the problem and they said the most frequent thing is that the master switch to the electrical that was located in the steering column...
I JUST now read this and I don't know if I should run up to the shop tomorrow and tell them to check that "room" 30A fuse...
Do you think I should?

its not a switch. look under your hoods fuse box there is one there that says taillamp, it should be a 15 amp atc fuse. its blown, guranteed. just changed it on mine tongiht. Ther is also a 30amp fuse under thats black but i highly doubt its that.

I think i mentioned up there that I changed the tail lamp fuse under the hood beacuse it actually was bad
But after I changed it they quit working?
I was driving and I hit the turn signal and thats when my gauge lights came off, no telling how long the tail lights have been bad..

did u recently take apart any of your interior? it sounds like you have a short somewhere, is you tail lamp fuse still okay? check it again. also look for shorts with your wiring in the interior, like any where that a positivly charged wire is touching metal. this will cause it to short out and u will need to find that wire/wires or you will keep just blowing fuses. this happened to me, the wire was my ash try light and it was touching the metal center console bracket, i just taped it over with electrical tape and then switched my TAIL LAMP fuse under the hood, and i was good to go.

I checked all the fuses the one for the tail lamp is brand new and so is the 10 a under neath the dash that is for the gauges the only thing I've taken out of the interior was my CD player and if I'm not mistaken I electric taped all of the splices and then taped the jumble of cords together so they wouldn't be moving around much. If it turns out that its something simple then I'm just not gonna pay for the part or would that be a bad idea? I mean they had to order this thing from a mits. manufacturer... ownage on the price... So if thats not the problem I'm gonna tell them I don't want o pay for it... Then change out my fuses and check the CD player again, that COULD be it but I have had it in for about a month or 2 now... It was wierd though, I hit my turn signal and my gauges went out and then I got home and checked my tail lights and they were out but I still have brake lights and reverse lights...
Its awkward

Has this only happened once? or is it a reacurring thing? if it only happened once chances are the fuse just got old or it just happened? but if its doing it over and over again you have a short somewhere. You said you took your radio out? check all the wires if your not using them right now make sure none of them are touching each other or anything for that matter. Also look around at any other thing you may of messed around with recently. Do you have any gauges(i didn't look at your profile). IF you do there is a good chance that you have a bad ground or you have something wired up wrong. Lastly are all your lights and light switches working? With electrial problems you will run into a huge hassel(especially if you are not familar with how electric works and what things are) that is not usually a easy to find fix.
