Hey All,

Two questions about the ECU pins. Need to get some parts to wire up a MAP sensor, Electronic Boost Controller, and air temp sensor.

1) Where can I get the pin connectors for a 2G ECU? The metal pieces that the wire crimps to, and is inserted into the harness.

2) Where can I get a ECU pin removal tool? Or is it just a small screw driver.

Thanks,

Darren

I'm not sure if an electronics store would sell the pins or not. Why do you need more pins though? I installed a MAP, IAT, and wideband without messing with the pins at all. Just splice into the wires. If not, you'll have to find someone willing to cut the ECU plugs off of the main wiring harness.

Just use jewelers screwdrivers.

I agree on most of the wiring, but the boost controller will require a ECU pin. I have an AEM EMS that can control an electronic boost controller.

After searching the internet, I found that the AMP pins can be used.

Large pins: AMP p/n 173631-1 and small pins: AMP p/n 173716-1
