Resolved 2G rear brake calipers fit RS?

I saw these rear brake calipers they are for a 2G GSX. I was wondering if I could use them to do a conversion on my rear brake drums? I have a 97 RS

its not possible cause you would need the hubs from an awd for those to bolt up, which you don't have.

Correct. You would need to convert the entire assemblies. and you would need to convert to the drum-inside-disk parking brake that comes along with rear disks.

i wouldn't worry about getting rear disc brakes, the front brakes do 70% of the braking. if anything upgrade to the larger 2 piston awd front calipers that also use a bigger rotor. and if you want more go with a crazy kit.

Front brakes are the best place to put your money, and you might be surprised at how just a good set of pad's and clean fresh rotors can make it stop.
