So, I bought a 2g exhaust manifold mated with a small 16g. It came with most of the water and oil junk and the o2 housing as well.

I pulled it out of a wrecked 1g awd talon and the shaft play is minimal.

All together I got it all for 65 dollars.

It's a small 16g because the fins go from large to small.

Good or what?

All 16g compressor wheels look like that. Find the serial number on the compressor housing and match it up in one of the 16g identification threads that are floating around this forum to be sure which flavor it is.

All "G" series compressors have the large-small alternating fins. Be sure you're not buying a TD04 turbo, which would be the 13G (same potential as a T25.)

If that really is a 16g of any form, thats a steal. Sure better then a t-25.....

It has tdo5h stamped on compressor housing.

I don't think I am going to put this little buy on just yet. I am going to get a new aftermarket o2 housing and port the 2g manifold; for fun and possibly a rewire kit for my stock fuel pump.

What is stamped on the compressor housing is: S 020207096 and underneath that is: 49178-01520 - 16G out of a GVR4


For some reason, I feel that I picked up a 14b.

Other good stuff from that car was some kind of a CRV rims wraped with falken azenis's street slicks which I got for $120. tread 60% and 80% left.
