What's the largest resonator i can get to fit on a '90 Talon TSi AWD? Im going to bring the car to an exhaust shop and have a 3" exhaust made up for me, so what's the largest i can fit under the car (or what's the ideal size) that can keep a catalytic converter?

I would stay away from the 4" if you don't need that kind of flow. You would be needing to push some ungodly boost to be rolling with 4". The 3" setup with a high flow cat or a test pipe would be the best for anything you are doing on a car you are going to drive regularly.

I usually run a I believe 18" Dynomax resonator, right where the cat should sit. You can probally fit one longer one in the cat back directly after the cat. There is a good amount of straight section right there.
