Yea... don't let your girlfriend learn how to drive with your car, haha.

Anyways, she smoked the clutch really badly one day....

I drove it the next day and could definitely tell the pedal felt a lot different

Then yesterday i saw a bunch of fluid under the car.

Not the clutch just goes to the floor.....

The crappy part is I need to drive it 5 miles down the street to my parents for a few weeks before i can get it fixed....

I really hate asking.. but where the heck do I refill the fluid?? I can't find it anywhere.... I opened the big white canister on the firewall, drivers side, by the intake manifold... but it was full of fluid....

please tell me that was the wrong spot...

thanks for the help!!

Dude you are going to kill that clutch even more if you fill it up with the leak. It was low on fluid and not engaging correctly so it was burning up. Its not your girlfriends fault it failed. It must have a bad slave cylinder that busted. Make sure you buy an oem one so it last a long time.

Darn that one is full too..... guess I can't drive it... (you sure?) How much should I expect to pay at a shop to replace the slave and master cylinders?

P.S. I was in the car with her when it happened... you should have smelt it.... somehow I think she started the leak or whatever (*5k rpm, clutch feathered, car not moving, on big slope, held for a few seconds!) - don't get me wrong, it was going to go out regardless, she just expedited the process, LOL.

So is there any way at all to drive it somehow??

I just grabbed this pic from the gallery that thing half circled in the corner is the clutch fluid resivour. If it only happend a day ago you should realy look for fresh clutch fluid in the engine bay and try to see wear it all came from. Pick up a Haynes manual from you local auto parts store it will be pretty handy in this situation.
