I was looking at the Prothane motor mounts and it say it stiffens the engine movement so I was wondering if I just weldedtwo peoces of metal on each side so the engine wouldn't move at all. Would this hurt more then do good.
Please don't say this is dumb give me good explained answers

You are referring to solid motor mounts. It has been done, though I'm not sure who would sell them either. But you are AWD, prothane/polyurethane mounts should be good enough for you. Plus, solid mounts are a bi*** to line up and put in place.

I don't know about all that bending the frame stuff. The frame itself is a stiff piece, and a little motor torque is not going to bend a frame correctly supported with 4 solid mounts -- the torque that would normally cause the motor to shift is almost completely eliminated by the front and rear mounts.
