Well damn it all to hell. I just about finished up everything on my rebuild, and hit a bump in the road.

The intake ports on the 1st gen head are twice the size of my 2nd gen, when i put the gasket on the head, i was not happy.

Anyone have a 1st gen intake manifold lying around?:coy:

Its a 99' block, a 93' head, all 4g63t. The manifold is off my 95' motor which came out of my TSi.

*edit* Ok, never mind...i have to get the 1st gen manifold. dammitt.

If those 2 are gone i might have access to one. A friend of mine recently got a sheet metal intake, so i think his stock 1g is still laying in his garage.

Thanks, I PMed the guy.

Sucks, because i found threads, when i searched, where people said it would work...fu-ckers.
