Heres my BOV. it appears to have 2 vac connections in the back. I am currently using the top one but not the bottom. I don't understand why there are two. Can anyone explain why there is 2 places to have VAC connections and which one i should use and where to put it, thanks a ton. heres the pic

Also. Can anyone here picture this BOV; what kind it is. if not its all good. It's just better to find out what information is on them before you mess with it.

Looks like a knockoff of the greddy type s... if it is you can leave the bottom valve open if i remember correctly.

That's a GReddy Type S...looks like a Chinese knockoff. It'll probably last a few months, then the diaphragm will start to leak. Be prepared to replace the diaphragm, or the entire unit, or you'll have a boost leak in it's current un-recirculated state. If you recirculate, the leak won't go away, but the effects will be minimized.

RECIRCULATE that thing, unless you have a GM MAF in a blow through setup. Your car will quit stalling, and will run much better.

The top nipple is for actuating the valve.

Go here to read about the bottom one...it helps the valve open more quickly: http://herpetology.com/dsm/bov.html

Yeah its being recirculated LOL. The guy i bought it from had the bypass off which made it sound really cool but i bought some hose and connected it.

Also another quick question. The screw on top of the BOV. When i turn it counter clockwise it goes up; am i knocking down the boost?

The blow off valve is not a boost controller.

The purpose of the adjustment rod is to change the spring pressure, the higher the spring pressure (CW), the higher boost pressure the valve can hold before it's blown open.
