What can i safely turn the boost up to on my 92gs? Its got the 4g63 engine, shepard racing trans, evo3 16g turbo, 660 injectors, 190 lp fuel pump, 2.5''' magnaflow exhaust, fmic, injen cold air intake, act 2100 clutch.. currently on 8 psi. My manual boost controller just came and going to get the car tuned and dynoed in about 3 hours

Oops should have mentioned what the guy in the post above said, raise boost gradually. I was running 20psi with no knock so when I dynoed the b16g I just raised it to 25 on 94 and still had no knock but then I gradually changed timing to get some more power. You haven't mentioned what you're using to tune. It's all about the tuning. I have done as much as 25psi with a big 16g but I was using dsmlink and I had 2.5" pipes and a huge intercooler.

everbodys setup is different but i would like to shed light on the subject, i had an evo 3 16g fic 650cc injectors and evo8 fuel pump like a 190lph. pretty much the same setup and i was able to run around 26 ish psi with 100 octance and with 112 i was able to pull off nearly 28-29 although it would drop to around 23 by 7500 rpms i ran a best of 12.38 that was on 25-26 psi never dyno'd but with some racefuel and some tuning you would be surprised on pump gas 93 i only could get like 21 maybe 22 on a good day with no knock.

don't tuners usually tune the boost level for you also. I mean it is part of the whole setup right? Sorry i dont know, I just have never had the chance to get mine to the tuners :(

yeah old man but you get traction.. LOL i can seem to get any in first or 2nd.. the fronts tires spins in 2nd gear at 4600 rpms
