I have just got my 91 AWD it has an ACT 2600 Clutch on there now but the clutch wont engage when started im guess the clutch cause that is what the seller told me, it may be master or slave cylinder which would be an easier fix. The buyer said the pedal kept getting lower and lower then now it wont do anything, any feedback anyone? Also if it is the clutch will an Ebay performance clutch do because its not stock it can do a low 13 to high twelve so its around 320awhp so im wondering will that do?

Sounds like your losing fluid/have air in the system. But I have an ebay "xtd stage 3" 6 puck. It seems to be working fine for over ~12k miles.

Thats what I was thinking to! I know when I swapped the clutch on my GS I did all that and I just need a slave cylinder and to bleed the system! So you think I should go ahead and change the master and slave cylinder or maybe the line?

The problem is either the master or slave cylinder is bad, or your clutch fork and release bearing are broken.

I would bleed it first to see if that will help. Look at your lines to see if you can find a leak. My slave cylinder was leaking right at the fitting before. The slave cylinder is easy to change out, the master looks more difficult but I've never changed one out. It's up to you though, they're not that expensive. And like what was said above, your fork could be bent too, but you'll know if bleeding the lines does nothing.

I would make sure I had no air in the system and bleed it properly before slapping parts on it. The fact that the clutch got progressively lower suggests it would be air in the line. Was it been worked on recently? If bleeding it does not help then it might need a rebuild for the slave, or replace it with a newe one. I would test and see if the clutch is grabbing too, with it in gear. My car has the safety switch bypassed, so if yours is too you can put it in gear and bump the key and it should move. If not then the clutch is shagged.
