so my clutch is finally giving out, right now its an ACT2600 i believe, the clutch pedal is really stiff so im assuming its a 2600. anyways its almost done, so im looking into a new clutch/flywheel setup.

was talking to people at slowboy and also looking at this setup myself.

ACT XACT Flywheel & Slow Boy Racing 3500 Heavy Duty Clutch Kit.

i like the ACT flywheel because its light but not to light. plus its made of chrome-moly steel instead of aluminum like the fidanza, less chance of slippage and warpage.

and as for the clutch i like the way they say the 3500 is like the act 2600 for horsepower rating but also like how the pressure plate is a little bit more forgiving. better for my foot ( not that it bothers me i go to the gym and i skateboard so my legs are plenty strong) but its also better for the transmission forks & gears. :thumb:

so what do you think ? sbr 3500 :rocks:

ohh and as for the ACT springs blowing out, im not worried about that, it was a batch and sh*t happens. plenty of my friends use the 2600 and have no problems, anyways let me know ! ! ROFL

Vendor reviews are not allowed on here, but I'd choose an ACT clutch over the SBR product. I have an ACT 2100 with a 6 puck sprung hub disc and I love it! :)

Since you have an AWD, get a 2600 or get a 2100 with the 6 puck disc - they are both rated at about the same torque level.

i wasnt reviewing any vendors, i was just saying what i thought would be good.

I have the ACT XACT Flywheel and the Act 2900 and love it. Pedal is a little stiff but after 1 day of driving you forget about it.

I would go with a stock clutch before using the sbr3500 myself. even if that meant no driving hard.

but out of the choices I say stick with the ACT
