ok so i havent messed much with my dsmlink yet.,...just getting into learning how to use it
im using a old laptop without a battery till i get my keyspan adapter so i cant make any rolling pulls for the next week or so cause i have to run to a extension cord in my garage!
but as far as idle goes my idle info

the A/F goes anywhere between 13.4:1 to 14.06:1
timing is between 8.4 to 13.3

reving it to 4k where my 2step is set right now

a/f goes from 16.4 to 18.00
timing goes up to 28.5

jus wondering is that about right for idle or not...
i do know my stock MAF had the screens taken out before i got it which i here is bad thing

Have you joined the DSMLink forums yet? There is a nice FAQ on how to do a basic tune that supplements the DSMLink users guide (which you should read cover to cover prior to tuning).

As for your query, are how are you reading actual AFRs? WideBand, DSMLink Estimates?
At idle you should see ~14.7:1 AFRs on a true WBO2, don't know of anyone that checks tune by stationary reving to 4K, only dead Idle and WOT. Have you checked your fuel trims? :dsm:
