How would one go about determining weather a turbo is a 16g, s16g, or b16g, or even e316g? I just got a talon tsi '92 from a friend for 3 hundo, and its got a new turbo in it, but I dont know which one. I'm just wondering cause i'm in the process of stripping out what I need I.E. the rc 550's that were in there, as well as the apexi turbo timer. So if anyone has any obvious factor that would tell me which it is please shoot, thanks.

Look at the numbers on the compressor housing.

small 16G 49178-01520
big 16G 49178-01420
E3 16G 49178-01470

All the numbers will be cast except for the 8th and 9th digits (52, 42, 47) which are stamped.
