I was having what i thought was ecu issues a few months ago. I was getting the random stalling and clicking behind the dash. So i had my caps replaced about a month ago but while having them changed only one had leaked and it was very very minor. So the other day it was 90* outside and all of a sudden the car dies then comes back on but i only hear one click not the multiple ones like before the caps were replaced. I just happeded to have a spare in my back seat that i picked up cheap to have rebuilt but it worked just fine a few days earlier so i figured i'd through it in but still nothing. Finally it starts with the other ecu and runs for a few minutes and dies with only one click behind the dash. Eventually the car started and stayed running long enough to drive it home.

Even though i have new caps in one of the ecu's and theres no visible damage anywhere else on the board could something else inside the ecu need to be replaced that would cause this? I just want to make sure i need an ecu before i shell out a few hundred on a rebuilt one.

Thanks
