5th gear pop out for a 2g

I have read the forum on thew 5th gear pop out for the 1g and seen the vfaq for the 1g but I was wondering if there is a vfaq for the 2g. I am going to take the cover off mine today but I was hoping I could get a little better picture of what I am getting into.

Remove the splash shield, drain the tranny,then undo the cover and tighten the nut holding the 5th gear.

I had the same problem . Its basically the same as the 1g. Just drain the trans, pull the cover and tighten the nuts up. ( I think it was 110 ft/lbs but check and be sure) I did this and it felt like I put in a new trans. If I knew how much better it made it I would have done it a long time ago. Good luck
