I searched for the answer and learned alot, but I'm still not sure. So please don't tell me to search the answer instead I'd be more than happy to look at a link if you post if for me. Anyway I've found that its better to run the oil feed from the oil housing instead of from the head, but I read that there is to much oil pressure from the housing, but that only effects bb turbos. Since mine is the 5031e its a non bb would it be fine being ran from the housing? Since my car is a 90 does the housing have an extra port to run the feed to? If I run the oil feed from the head will it really make that much difference?

Also from the looks of it this turbo is oil cooled only do I just need to block off coolant. Any advice would be great. I know if its oil cooled only the car HAS to be turbo timed or at least left running. How do you break in a new turbo. Do i need to crack motor a few times to get oil in it and then let it sit and run for a bit. I'm new to all of this obviously and I dont want to mess up a new turbo.

Make sure you prime the tubro by putting oil into it before installation. I personally would run the oil from the head with an inline filter. You can simply block off the coolant lines, although a non turbo water line would be best.

After reading more I may be able to bend the lines to make them fit. Hopefully there will be a way to get to use them on turbo if not I'm sure my buddy will just block them off.
