Would a EVO 8 FMIC fit a 1g Talon?

My bro is giving me his evo 8 fmic. cause he is getting the race AMS FMIC. so i was wondering if i buy the upper and lower intercooler piping would this stock evo fmic work well w/ a 92 eagle talon turbo fwd tsi???

would it fit? would piping be hard to make for fitment issues??

People are gonna hate on the EVO intercooler, the piping isn't hard to route (many DSM'ers have already done this) if you use the "search" feature I'm sure you'll find your answer...

It will work well on your 1g. As said before many people have already done this.

I just finished installing mine on the wifes car. its big so be preparred. I also went with a shorter route for the pipes and modified the cooler for it. here's a pic.

so that the pipes line up better. they go around both sides of the rad. been on the car for 2 weeks now with no issues or scraping. the car is still stock ride height and has cleared the biggest speed bumps around town. sudden steep driveways are a no-go.

I hate to say it but from the look of the bottom of your front bumper I would raise that intercooler UP. I agree with the above post that looks WAAAAAAY too low. Just my .02

Correct. The black spray painted area faces up.

yes. I flipped mine and mounted it in order to achieve maximum air flow surface area and minimum length of intercooler piping.
