Boost Gauge

I searched the forums for this. I did find some useful info but i still need one small thing answered.

Which wire do i splice into on the dimmer control for the boost gauge to light up?

cigarette lighter light, it's the easiest to get to.

you can also hook it up directly to your dimmer switch, I feel the cigarette lighter method is sort of hack job, not to mention after you have about 3 gauges you will have some amperage problems with them all drawing on the cig. lighter.
