Amen. You dont know how many cheap things I've bought for my ride and ended up buying something better. Luckily though, I didnt put the cheap stuff on. Hopefully you've learned your lesson, I know I did.

dammmm, how long did you have it on the car

Time to buy another one:D

If you havent had that on to long I would have to say it was probably caused by you wrapping it. Not saying that thats a quality part but you know, making it hold all that heat probably hurried the breaking process.

Port your stock one and put it back on:thumb:

why don't you weld that back you yourself it you have a welder

i see that if you don't have a welder, or access to one, it might be a bad to own one of these
but like me, if it breaks, i'll weld it myself,
still saves me like $400-500 for the more expensive ones
that can get me dsmlink :)

but put more pictures, its kinda hard to see if you don't have other parts to reference with

That sucks man.Im a little nervous i have an exotic speed manifold and an xs dump pipe(bought on ebay).what were you doing when that happened?how long was it on there?the welds on mine look good but those pics tell a different story.:dsm:

I have been on theese forums for a while. THE SEARCH BUTTON is your best friends in which it would have saved the $$$ and time it took to install this.:thumb:

The otherone with the wastegate off of EBAY, don't install that either. RETURN IT ASAP if you can. What happens when your wastegate doesn;t open KABOOM!

Either way, from I learned the only good thing EBAY makes for our car is 02 Housings and FMIC kits.

Don't know the reason to bother with SSautocrap. Especially when using mitsu based turbo's. A 2g, or evo manifold will probly outperform those poopy things, and wont fall apart. Id run a 2g manifold with an adapter for T3 before i bothered with a XS manifold.

Doesnt wrappin the manifold make it more likely to fail at the welds ### it cools down faster? Ive ran ebay manifolds on 2 of my cars. And the talon i ahev no is also running a ebay 50 trim and i bet it runs 11s this year... Just a question tho

Your first mistake was wrapping the header, well i guess the first mistake was buying it LoL. But rapping a header like that is just asking for failure, everytime ive wrapped a header something has happened.

Yep what I was thinking ...I am wondering when people are going to use the search button and read about the stuff they want to buy before they do (it's called do your homework) and then people want to put pics and complain about it .......

These manifolds are a given :notgood:

Argh. :( I just bought one and will be putting it on soon. The thing is quite beefy, maybe you just got the black sheep out of the bunch? For $300, you'd think it's a quality product.
I've seen quite a few post of these cracking. I know there very first batch made had severe problems, but even the newer ones are cracking. It seems the newer ones are much better though.
