Well I bought this exhaust off of the classifieds a while back I went and picked it up, and didnt really think anything about it, on the count of there was a GSX parts car sitting there with no exhaust. Does this look like an AWD exhaust to you guys it dosent have many bends in it thats why im worried?

Yea I looked under my car and my stock one has alot more bends and from the way things look this one one even clear the A-arms and stuff. Im supposed to have my car rollbacked to the shop in a few days and was wanting to put this on but I dont know if it will work now.

It still comes out in the stock side of the car. Theres only one way to find out I suppose any other thoughts on this?

Cut where that last flange is? Is there anyway I can make this work? Wish I still had the guys phone number that sold me this.

Buy 2 90 degree mandrel bends (or 1 180 degree) and take it to an exhaust shop. An AWD exhaust can be almost perfectly straight until it reaches the rear. A 90 degree towards the passenger side and a little up and then one towards the rear and you're set. It'll only be a few welds. A good shop should be able to modify it for you easily.

Well this sucks I found the guys profile and emailed him, this is a real bummer I was wanting to have an exhaust on my car when I got it fixed.

True enough. My exhaust does not have a bend for the transfer case.

Yes, but that still doenst explain the pipe before the muffler being straight, regardless there should be a bend for either over the axle or under the axle...unless he had the exhaust made to hang way low and go under the axle.....but that wouldnt make much sense, nor would it look at all good.

Well I will test fit it tommorow and see if its going to fit or not, he might of had it hanging low becuase there are scraps on the pipe.

You're right. The rear section looks all wonky. My comment was only menat in reference to my point that it could be modified to work fine for him, hopefully with just 2 different bends in the rear.

My 3" exhaust looks very similar to that ('92 AWD)... the rear of mine looks to bend a little more to make room for my larger muffler (Thermal).
