trying to install my 750cc FIC injectors and they seem too big to fit into the fuel rail. do i need to shave the top plastic part to fit them in? any suggestions help.

They are drop in to fuel rail. Did you remove all the old insulators first? And watch your fuel rail spacers from get swallowed up behind the engine :|

I got 650FIC injecotrs and its plug and play. I pulled the stock ones out, and slid the new ones it. Listen to elfroggo's advice too.

Mine wouldn't fit unless i used the seal kit from FIC......thats odd.

Out of shear curiosity, i dug up a pic, and this is what my injectors look like. The end that goes into the rail (the plastic part below the oring) hits the rail...won't go in any further. The lower part that goes into the head is larger than the hole in the lower seal. This was why i needed the injector seal kit

I had the same problem. I had to put my injectors into a lathe and take down the plastic. PITA. FIC injectors are made for alot of different cars. Thus if you get them second hand then sometimes you get some for a different rail. I am assuming you got these second hand. IF not send them back and get the ones that are machined for your rail.

EDIT: those injector above look to be for the 420a rail. The 4g63 should only have orings on one side and the insulator on the other. My FIC kit came with 2 oring's for the rail side of the injector.
