What's this wire/plug?

I was going through the rats nest this afternoon, trying to make some sort of sense with the wiring this moron owner before me did.... so upon ripping out like half the wires out the center counsel, i found this, is it for the stock radio?

Get this.... the guy was running gauge lights off airbag module... using,

That first picture really looks like the TPS connector. As for the other picture I have no idea. Goodluck though!

The first picture the plug is located somewhere inside the center counsel, the second picture is just to show you how good an electrician the previous owner was.

I don't know what it's for but I don't think it's for the radio. The radio should have quite a few more connector pins...power, individual speakers, power antenna, etc.

Sorry to bring this back up, but did you ever find out what that first pic plug is for? Or anybody else know?

I just looked at my dsm service manual and it shows something called a ( G sensor <ABS(AWD)> ) that is located around the same area as the radio.

If I knew how to copy and paste from Adobe reader I would post the pics and info.

The G Sensor is used by the ABS in AWD models.

Slow 95 TSi and Locke seem to have answered it.

Makes sense since mine does not have ABS.
