The fuel line coming out of the fuel pump housing got twisted a little bit when i was cracking off thefitting to remove the fuel pump. It's enough of a twist to create a tiny leak that now has a bit of fuel leaking out from it. Does anyone know what part number the housing is and the dealership should have one right? If not where else should i get one, maybe just go to a junkyard? Otherwise i might go for a bosch pump with upgraded lines.

The fuel pump assembly is MB597728 and lists for $507.42

You might want to call the junkyards or search the site for the various ways people have repaired them. When I changed my pump the hard line and cover were so corroded that the line kinked under the weight of a open end wrench. I ordered a unrusted replacement from M&S Recycling in California.

thanks steve, yeah i figured it would be like 500 bucks or something from the dealership. it's totally like me to break a 500 dollar part doing something simple like a fuel pump change
