Homemade oil feed line 14b 2g

I bought a 14b with jpipe and all except it didnt come with the stainless oil feed line I was wondering if i could go to auto parts store or home depot and pick up some havy duty hose and cut both ends off the old feed lines and clamp them both together, i know i can buy one but i need the car running asap cant wait a week for shipping or is anyone around me has one or knows were i can get one please help. Or if ou have an alternate solution let me know.

Mine cracked on me and was leaking a modest amount of oil. I ended up cutting out the coiled part and put in a chunk of heater hose with 2 worm clamps. It hasn't been an issue ever since, and that was a year ago. It's not the best way to go about it I'm sure, but it's worked fine for me and would at least last you your week.

eh this was on the oil return line by the way.. most likely would work on the feed but I haven't actual done that.

eh this was on the oil return line by the way.. most likely would work on the feed but I haven't actual done that.

the return line sees very little to no pressure, so this fine. however, i've seen close to 100psi on cold starts. not sure how a clamped on hose is going to hold up. you could always just get a 1g oil feed line.

get some hard brake line. Not sure if it is 3/16 or 1/4. use compression fittings to mate with the ends.
