Ok I just got my 6bolt rebuilt again and it has 500 miles now and we've change the oil 3 times so far. Ok well for one my stock rpm tach hasnt been working since the engine swap ( but im using a 90s eprom ecu if that matters about the rpm )
For two , now my car is blowing oil out on acceleration and the faster I go the more it blows out and its blowing out and in the last 200miles Ive already put 1 and a half quarts of oil in it. Its blue smoke according to a friend and therefore I believe I have leaking turbo seals. Theres a guy across the street from my house who rebuilds turbos for semi trucks as a proffession but im wondering are turbo seals rebuildable/ replaceable ( because I didnt think they were. )
Now wondering how long do you think I can limp the car around with bad turbo seals ( while checking the car everytime I park, and not boosting. )
I dont have too much money right now and dont have money to buy a new turbo and am not sure my car is ready for putting a evo3 16g yet, but I know I need to fix this problem fast before I destroy my engine from it blowing all the oil out the exhaust.
Also what do you think couldve been the culprit, me breaking in the engine and not changing the oil enough, or too high of oil pressure ( no balance shafts, and if thats the case how much oil pressure normally blows turbo seals? )
According to my stock gauge at idle its at the middle line, and at anything over 4k its in between the middle line and second to last line before the H, and at wot its at the second to the last line... Is that too high?
