Are these gauges any good?

I am looking to start turning up the boost and my next step needs to be a boost gauge. I am quite pleased with the ebay intake I purchased (thanks to a great write up and review by Redturboeclipse). I have a very tight budget and looking to find a deal on a boost gauge. However I am a little skeptical of the super cheap gauges I found on ebay. Does anyone have experience and could tell me if these are worth the savings or just worthless.

Here is the first one http://stores.ebay.com/GLOWSHIFT-GAUGES/Tinted-7-Gauge-Promotion.html

and the second http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TURBO-BOOST-TINT-GAUGE-METER-2-52MM-UNIVERSAL-FIT-GLOW_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38660QQihZ005QQitemZ150057440480QQrdZ1

If you want cheap, i would go with Autometer. Not only have they been around for a while, but they will replace the gauge if it goes bad. I have had my autometer 30 psi boost gaue since 2004 with no problems.

A nice autometer boost guage is only about 20 bucks more. The extra change will be going towards a proven quality product and excellent customer service. Although e-bay is a nice place for things like pipes, but I think functional mechanical parts are a bit different.

Precisely the reason i asked, a pipe is a pipe but if i buy the cheap gauge that reads 10 psi low, i can seriously screw up the engine.

A good friend of mine has those ebay gauges installed in his ecotec powered sunfire.. they work damn good for the price, just beware of the air/fuel gauge, it's one of those dancing needle gauges that make it nearly impossible to get a reading.

I have a set of 3 ProSport gauges, and they kick ass. Despite being slightly difficult to read during the day, I have absolutely no issues with them, they are cheap, functional and look good.

I recently purchased an autometer boost gauge, and it works great, I highly recommend it. I might have to try those prosport gauges though, I have another hole to fill and they seem to get getting good reviews, not to mention the price is nice.

I had an autometer pro comp boost gauge and got rid of it for a Prosport boost gauge. No complaints at all, looks awesome at night.

Yes, it's a decent cheap gauge. I've been running my glowshift for over a year. It's been put up with an autometer and there is no difference in the reading.
And they have a 1 year warranty on there gauges.

Actually how good is it to see the prosport gauges during the day? I'm looking into buying some.

I can see mine great during the day, Sometimes I'd get a little glare but not bad at all. I'll get a daytime pic tomorrow its too dark now.

I may be bias, but- imho, that is the best decision you made!!

I think so too.

I had the glowshift volt, boost, and af. They worked great except the af but you dont want one anyhow. im pulling my glowshifts out this week and puttin a wideband in and a autometer boost guage. The glowshift still works awsome i juust have the other hanging around so why not put it in
