I searched and couldn't find anybody with experience with this clutch. Has anyone used it? How did it do? I am interested because based on their clutch chooser assistant, it's a really nice compromise between the ACT2600 and 2100. It supposedly holds up to the abuse of a 2600, but the pedal isn't as hard and it is less likely to cause crankwalk. These 2 things are very enticing to me. I want the ability of a 2600 without the hard pedal and crankwalking. But since i've never seen any reviews or any information on it, I am a little weary to try it. So has anybody used it? Seen it? Experienced it? How does it last? How does it compare? Any common problems like with ACT lately? Let me know.

Just a note, it's not actually on their site for sale. It's only listed in the clutch chooser assistant. You can still order it, though, as I asked Mike about it.

I've never heard of anyone using it and I didn't even know that they had it on their website. If you are looking for a strong clutch with lower pedal pressure, check out SBR's clutches. I have heard a lot of good things about them and you know that they are from a reputable vendor. They are suppose to have the same clamping power as the 2600 without all the pedal pressure.

I run an ACT 2600 in my car and I don't think that the pedel pressure is that bad but everybody has their own opinion. I don't mind driving it in traffic and it grips everytime I drop the clutch, no questions asked. I've only run ACT clutches in all of my cars and I have never had a problem with them. I only know of one that has

I've read a few instances about the SBR3500 clutch that claim it LOOKS like the same thing. Are they the same thing or do they just appear this way? If so, the SBR3500 is a little cheaper. Anyone know? What is the flywheel step height of the SBR3500 and the RRE No Name? Mike said The RRE is .609". I'm not sure on the SBR

I'm not for sure about that. I am sure that someone at SBR can tell you though. I did want to put one more thing in here. If you do go with an ACT clutch, make sure that you don't use the TOB that comes with it. I know a lot of people that end up doing that (including the guy that had my car before me) and it ends up going out within 10,000 miles. My TOB is making all kinds of noises now and my clutch only has about 5,000 miles on it (it's not my daily driver).

Let us know if you get any info on the comparisons of the SBR and the "no name" clutch from RRE. I doubt that they are the same clutch even though they look similar.

I bought my car with a RRE X-clutch in it, which is rated at about the same as the ACT 2600. I liked the clutch alot, felt good and would grab. I did a motor rebuild and decided to put a new ACT 2600 in because the RRE one was definitly worn down.

Both clutches are great if you ask me, I would be wary of anything from SBR though. They screwed me on a bunch of parts and after 5 months I finally got a store credit. Dont believe it when they say it holds as much as a 2900 but only feels as heavy as a 2600, its only a sales pitch.

Either way I'd go with RRE or ACT.
