alright soo i picked up a real Apexi N1 exhaust off some guy for $100 and figured it was a good deal until i got home... when i got home i realized on the back of the muffler, there are a few cracks.. im not really sure if they are a problem or not soo im just going to get ym friend to tack weld them..
the main problem i ran into is basically that none of the piping fit right at all and now i dont have my stock exhaust to put back in place, its in 100 peices..

i have to options now and not sure what to do..

A.) get some 3" pipe and customize my own catback until i can get a downpipe
B.) Get my 100 back or put it through his window.

what would you do?

(how much would it be to get the piping for the catback bent to the muffer going under the rear sway and all that stuff?? im interested in doing that but if im looking at like 300, i might as well get a whole new exhaust)

help me, thanks..

I would sell it for 300 and buy an ebay catback. Why won't it fit. What kinda car was it on?

Well here is my deal with Apexi, I had one on my gst and I just put a full 3" turbo back on the car. I found out that the resonator on the Apexi exhaust is only like 1.5 inches, so it goes from 3" to 1.5"!!!! After i got my new full 3" exhaust put on it was a completely different car, since then I really dislike Apexi, not only because of that issue but also the fact that you about $500 for a brand new catback, and it's not even stainless steel. :beatentodeath:

i would go custome.

I just hacked off the "3 inch" resonator (more like 2" on the inside) and pur 14 inches of straight 3" pipe on my exhaust.

My spool is a little quicker, and the top end is soooo much better.

Its also a great deal louder, but i have the only DSM in the area that sounds like it has a 3.5" exhaust.
